  • Mood: Bemused
  • Listening to: Lilly Allen-"Smile"
  • Reading: "The Brief History Of The Dead"
  • Drinking: orange juice
EDIT: I noticed I had an incorrect link for the book project- but I fixed the link below. It's lookATbook.com as opposed to lookAbook.com.

Current summer art projects:

1. Web comics/illustration collaboration with Caption Comix [ [link] ] This person writes quotes and has artists collaborate. I've always been curious about illustrating something comic/panel based, but haven't had any real experience with it. So this should be fun.

2. Book collaboration with several artists allover the country via an online art community. The idea is much like what was done at this [link]. There is a central story. Each person has the book for two weeks, where they put whatever media they employ to continue the story- photography, fine art, graphic art, collage, etc.

If anyone else is interested on any sort of collaboration don't hesitate to send me a note. I'm always open to new idea's.

Hey Kirsten - we really need that book collab to move along. Can you please send it on now, regardless of whether you've had time to work on it? Everyone's really disappointed that it stopped, we just want to get it moving again.

Where have you been?! We've all been wondering.

Happiness, that grand mistress of the ceremonies in the dance of life, impels us through all its mazes and meanderings, but leads none of us by the same route. (Charles Caleb Colton)
I can send you my info again, if you need it. Or, if you tried to send it to me, let me know. It'd suck of the book got lost in the mail, but if it did happen it would be better to know for certain!

Hope everything's okay!

I am the artist and I am the art--alone unknown and torn apart
So.... how about getting that book back to ArtIsM, where it belongs?
